Abilene - South Downtown Economic Enhancement Strategy
Economic enhancement presentation
A public presentation of the South Downtown Economic Enhancement Strategy will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the Elks Building ballroom at 1174 N. 1st St. in Abilene. Hyett Palma, the city of Abilene’s consultant, will conduct the presentation.
The economic enhancement strategy under development is for the South Downtown Abilene area, bounded by N. 6th Street on the north, S. 7th Street on the south, Treadaway Boulevard on the east and Pine and Butternut streets on the west.
This is going to be a very exciting look into the future plans for the expansion of the donwtown revitilization and restoration.
