Texas Medical Construction, Pipelines, and Property Taxes
Several articles have recently caught our attention as pertaining to commercial real estate in the great state of Texas! Here is a brief summary of each as well as links to the full articles:
As Texas job market continues to increase, it's no surprise that the medical field is also seeing an increase in medical construction. According to the Dallas Morning News, Texas' $15.8 billion medical construction pipeline is second in the nation.
And speaking of "pipelines" there is a new pipeline construction project in the works. The EPIC Pipeline will be the state's longest pipeline since 2008, and will be responsible for delivering "upward of 440,000 barrels per day of crude oil and condensate out of the Permian Basin Shale field to the Gulf Coast region."
